Groups

We have more than 20 diverse interest groups covering a wide range of subjects, social and recreational activities. Each is self-supporting and has a group leader, who is often the person who initiated the group. Groups range in size from as few as 4 to as many as 30 members, the average being around 12. Groups welcome new members at any time, space permitting. Any u3a member may start a new group. We have a reciprocal agreement with neighbouring u3as through which members of one u3a can join the others' groups, which widens the range of available subjects and activities.
